Elephants

These colorful elephants are a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. The pale blue elephants are hand-carved out of stone, sanded until smooth, and dyed. Then an artisan uses a knife to etch the patterns into each elephant.

The natural color elephants are hand carved out of stone, sanded until smooth, and then polished. Since it shows the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the design. The unique trunk design makes these great ring holders. Sold individually.
